    1. Acceptance of Terms

    By accessing and using SongTracker ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, and your continued use constitutes acceptance of any changes.

    2. Description of Service

    SongTracker is a web application that allows users to track and monitor stream counts for songs on Spotify. The Service provides features including:

    • Adding and tracking individual songs from Spotify
    • Viewing current and historical stream count data
    • Organizing tracks in a personal library
    • Premium features available through SongTracker Pro subscription

    3. User Accounts

    To use SongTracker, you must sign in using a Google account. You are responsible for:

    • Maintaining the security of your Google account credentials
    • All activities that occur under your account
    • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

    We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in abusive behavior.

    4. Free and Pro Plans

    Free Plan: Users on the free plan may track a limited number of songs in their library.

    SongTracker Pro: The premium subscription ($7.99/month or $71.99/year) includes:

    • Unlimited tracks in your library
    • Bulk-add artist catalogs
    • Export all your data to CSV

    Pro features are available immediately upon successful payment processing.

    5. Subscription and Billing

    SongTracker Pro subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel. Key billing terms:

    • Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period
    • You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Stripe customer portal
    • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
    • No prorated refunds are provided for partial billing periods
    • We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with 30 days notice

    6. Refund Policy

    Due to the nature of digital services, refunds are generally not provided. However, we may consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis for:

    • Technical issues that prevent service access
    • Duplicate charges
    • Unauthorized transactions (subject to verification)

    Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the charge.

    7. Acceptable Use

    You agree not to:

    • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
    • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
    • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
    • Use automated scripts or bots to access the Service
    • Resell or redistribute access to the Service
    • Circumvent any access restrictions or usage limits

    8. Data Accuracy Disclaimer

    Stream count data displayed in SongTracker is retrieved from third-party sources (Spotify) and is provided for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee:

    • The accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of stream count data
    • That data will be updated at any specific frequency
    • That historical data will be preserved indefinitely

    Users should not rely on this data for financial, legal, or other critical decisions.

    9. Intellectual Property

    The SongTracker name, logo, and all content created by us remain our exclusive property. Song information, album artwork, and artist data are the property of their respective owners and are displayed under fair use for informational purposes.

    10. Service Availability

    We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.

    11. Limitation of Liability

    TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SONGTRACKER AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

    Our total liability for any claims arising from these terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

    12. Indemnification

    You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SongTracker and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these terms.

    13. Governing Law

    These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of jurisdiction.
