- Account Information: When you sign in with Google, we collect your name, email address, and profile picture.
- Track Data: We store information about the songs you add to your library, including Spotify track IDs, artist names, album information, album artwork URLs, and stream/play count data.
- Usage Data: We collect information about how you use our service, including tracks added, refresh actions, and feature usage.
- Payment Information: If you subscribe to SongTracker Pro, payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your credit card details directly.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve SongTracker services
- Display your tracked songs and their stream counts
- Store your library and preferences across sessions
- Process subscription payments and manage your Pro membership
- Send important service-related communications

3. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption and hosted on secure cloud infrastructure. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
4. Third-Party Services
We integrate with the following third-party services:
- Google: For user authentication and sign-in. Google's privacy policy applies to data collected during authentication.
- Spotify: We retrieve publicly available song information and stream counts from Spotify. We do not access your Spotify account or listening history.
- Stripe: For payment processing of Pro subscriptions. Stripe handles all payment data in accordance with PCI-DSS standards.
5. Pro Subscription Data
If you subscribe to SongTracker Pro, we store your subscription status and billing cycle information to provide premium features including unlimited track storage, bulk artist additions, and data export capabilities. Your payment details are processed and stored securely by Stripe.
6. Data Export and Deletion
Pro subscribers can export their track data at any time using the CSV export feature. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us. Upon account deletion, we will remove your personal information and track library from our systems.
7. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes. We may share data only in the following circumstances:
- With service providers who assist in operating our service (subject to confidentiality agreements)
- When required by law or to respond to legal process
- To protect our rights, privacy, safety, or property
8. Cookies and Tracking
We use essential cookies to maintain your session and authentication state. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels.
